MIAMI SEAPORT

The Port of Miami is Miami-Dade County's second most important economic engine contributing $28 billion annually to the local economy and supporting more than 207,000 jobs in South Florida. It is recognized as the Cargo Gateway of the Americas.

Port of Miami is the second largest economic engine in Miami-Dade County. It will continue to play a critical role in the current and future economic development of Miami-Dade County and the State of Florida.

Annually, the Miami Seaport on average, processes over 4.9 million Cruise Passengers and more than 1 million Cargo TEUs. 

 

As of 2018, Port of Miami accounts for approximately 334,500 jobs and has an annual economic impact of $43 billion to the state of Florida.
